My client is a global leader in the Unified Communications space, they work into a number of Tier 1 Telcos across the world and provide innovative network solutions. They have an immediate requirement for a Customer Support Analyst who will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through technical support in a post-sales environment.
The company work in a very innovative agile environment, with a flat lined hierarchical structure, they place considerable emphasis on pre and post sales collaboration so that employees in a support role understand how and why issues occur and the most effective way to solve them.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate support communication with on-site personnel
Coordinate support activity with internal development teams
Troubleshoot and solves issues
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Commercial customer facing support experience
- Good experience with Oracle and Java applications
- Good experience in Unix and Windows
- Good documentation and customer liaison skills
- Ability to autonomously research solutions and knowledge using knowledge management
- Good customer management and communication skills
Desirable:
- Unix Shell scripting
- SQL/PLSQL Programming
- Tomcat
- JBoss application server
- Oracle RDBMS
- Experience supporting platforms remotely in foreign countries.
