About the role:
One of Australia's largest Online Retailer is currently searching for a personable, digitally savvy Web / Online Content Producer to join their growing digital team and reporting directly to the CTO. You will be responsible for preparing all imagery for online usage as well as pulling together and uploading product content for all of their public facing websites. The organisation's dress code is smart but casual in keeping with their culture. When meeting external parties and clients, a more professional appearance is expected.
You'll be responsible for:
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that product content meets their requirements. These stakeholders include copywriters, sales, marketing, pricing, and purchasing.
- Specifying additional product copy that needs to be written by copywriters, for example company backgrounds for manufacturers.
- Liaising with suppliers to source and check content for their websites, such as product images, manufacturer branding, and promotional artwork.
- Preparing, modifying and improving product imagery for online deployment, eg applying watermarks to images, and appropriate cleaning up and sizing of images.
- Compiling, uploading and managing online content for products.
- Working with other Producers in a similar role.
To be successful in this role: - 2+ years' experience using Photoshop to edit images (Ideally, formal training in Photoshop)
- Intermediate Photoshop skills, including an understanding of file formats and image considerations appropriate for use online.
- 2+ years' experience in website design/content management systems.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS, together with a basic understanding of website technologies, more generally.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially given the requirement for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, together with good teamwork.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines & pay attention to detail
