On behalf of our client, a hugely successful and dynamic organisation, we offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join their Global Operations & Technology team.
Within this role you will play a lead role in the design, build and support of their enterprise communications infrastructure, primarily focusing on:
- switches and routers
- gateways / VPNs
- voice and data networks
- wireless networks
- load balancers
You will need to have an in depth understanding of enterprise end-user network infrastructure and will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- 6+ years commercial Wide Area Networking experience
- Expert knowledge of Cisco routing and switching
- Expert knowledge of IP, TCPIP, Cisco IOS and relevant standards
- Expert knowledge of GPRS, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, TCP, Frame Relay protocols
- Relevant industry certification - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE etc
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior staff
