Apex Resource Solutions are delighted to invite applications for a contract Network Engineer position, based with a prestigious client in Melbourne CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation who have demonstrated a real commitment to investing in both the technologies they use and the people they employ.


After a period of successful market growth they now have a requirement to bring on board an additional Network Engineer, with particular skills within Juniper routing and switching.

The Role

Ensure network and service availability both internally and to external customers; this includes daily network management such as schedule changes, incident escalation, status and issue reporting. 

Required Skills
-          Strong experience with Juniper (certifications highly regarded)
-          Experience of supporting VoIP/ unified communications
-          Strong knowledge of IPV4 and IPV6
-          Knowledge of MPLS and SIP networks
-          Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, RIP, HSRP
-          Experience with Security and QoS
-          4 to 6 years experience as a Network Engineer

 Desirable skills

- Relevant degree
- Cisco experience
