Apex currently require a Project Manager with speciality experience in Infrastructure, for a 6 month contract in Melbourne's South-East. 

Working as part of a larger PMO you will be responsible for delivering a range of projects in an Infrastructure environment.

The company is also undergoing a large "change-management" and process restructure associated with this project. The successful applicant will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in stakeholder management. Your strength in negotiating is also highly sought after.

This is a contract role with an initial 6 month duration and to qualify for it you will have the following attributes:

Previous and proven experience required:

  • At least 5 years experience in a Project Management - Infrastructure role, in a business environment 
  • Quality improvement and control
  • Technical understanding of infrastructure technology (firewalls, switching)
  • ITIL certified and experience
  • Working in a regulated environment
  • Analytical with an understanding of infrastructure
  • End-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects
  • Comfortable with working of levels of business hierarchy 
  • A
  • Proven experience delivering projects in an infrastructure environment across the likes of Desktop Roll-outs, Network Support, Security or Telephony.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to understand both technical and non technical requirements.
  • Proven experience managing technology budgets up to $2 million.
  • The ability to manage technical staff in an applications development environment and Infrastructure environment.
The role is working with a large end - user and presents a challenging, yet rewarding environment. We are looking for someone to start ASAP with interview likely to happen this and next week.
