We are now seeking an experienced help desk officer for a 6 month contract to be based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. You will be working with a growing organisation, based near Mulgrave. You will be providing 1st and 2nd level support to 4500 users, operating Monday to Friday with an on call roster for evening and weekend support once you are up to speed. You must have a friendly and engaging telephone manner and be able to speak to non technical people in an appropriate way. Your technical abilities are important too - ideally we would like someone who has come from a structured help desk environment and has around 18 months to 2 years experience with MS Office technologies including Active Directory. This is an initial 6 month contract with a high chance for extension or offer of a permanent role.
You must hold a visa which permits you to work in Australia, and priority will be given to candidates currently in Melbourne. Skills:
Experience in providing 1st and 2nd level support Excellent
Demonstrable Active Directory experience
Strong MS Office and PC Support experience necessary, MCP highly regarded
Drivers license essential - this location is not easily commutable by public transport
