Apex Resource Solutions are now recruiting for 2 positions within Business Intelligence, with one of our key clients based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
We are looking for one contractor and one permanent member of staff, with start dates of March 2012 pencilled in for both positions. The contract position will run until December 2012, when the project is scheduled to complete.

The Role:
You will be involved in supporting existing solutions and developing new solutions. A migration from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 is planned, so this is an opportunity to build a data warehouse and get involved in an interesting project. You will also perform day to day administration on the data warehouse (dimension modeling, ETL processes and scheduled jobs) and administration of Cognos BI (Metadata Modelling, OLAP Modelling and cube builds)

The Skills:
We require demonstrable experience with the following technologies
-          SQL Server 2008
-          SSIS 2008 (or equivalent)
-          Transact SQL (T-SQL)
-          Cognos 8 Applications (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Framework Manager Transformer & Powerplay)
