They have an established client base in Australia, with clients across a range of sectors including Financial Services, Telco, Utilities and Retail. This role has a strong focus on customer engagement, and requires a seasoned BI practitioner, who has a solid understanding of BI solution architecture.
The role: - Pro-actively engage customers, to take control of implementation of Business Intelligence tools.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to analyse and document current business processes and related technology, and successfully implement new BI technology to existing architecture.
- Carry out effective business analysis to ensure achievement of configuration requirements.
- Development of technical Business Intelligence requirements.
- Ensure quality of data throughout the complete implementation process.
- Solution design and architectural reviews to ensure effective installation.
Required skills and experience: - Outstanding knowledge of Business Intelligence across multiple tools (Business Objects, Cognos, SSRS, Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlikview etc).Full understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse architecture.
- Consulting experience within a Business Intelligence project is required.
- Proven ability to engage customers, advising on best practice and integration processes.
- Ability to present to, influence and negotiate with senior and executive level stakeholders is required.
- Ability to understand both functional and technical business requirements.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage deadlines.
This is a varied role, that requires a strong mixture of technical and functional skills, You will have a strong understanding of solution architecture. This role will require travel between Sydney and Melbourne. My client are offering an excellent base salary and OTE commission structure for this role.
