Due to ongoing growth and expansion in the Business Intelligence area my client require experienced BI/DW consultants to continue new and existing consulting roles with their impressive global list of high calibre clients.

 

The successful candidate will be an IT related graduate and will display 3-5 years experience in business intelligence and/or data warehousing.  This is a client facing role and will require someone with excellent presentation and english communication skills.  They will have the confidence/personality required to interact and build rapport with clients and other experienced consultants and have the ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and total business understanding.

 

My client offers training that will develop your consulting skills and expand your industry knowledge.  In return they encourage a happy working environment. 

 

The role will require the successful candidate to work closely with assigned client's business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the design & development of Cognos BI solutions using Transformer, Framework Manager, Analysis Studio and Report Studio.

 

Required skills & Experience

  • Excellent understanding of Cognos BI products.
  • 3-5 years Cognos/TMI experience.
  • Proven Cognos development experience.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable presentation skills.
  • Analytical & strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with and manage internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment is highly regarded but not essential.
