Experiencing rapid growth over the past few years, and gaining an extensive list of clients across a range of industry verticals, including Financials, Professional Services, Logistics and Utilities.
The role: - Take ownership of the complete consulting SDLC with Cognos BI Solutions.
- Effectively liaise with and manage clients, to deliver optimum Cognos BI solutions.
- Liaise with client stakeholders, gaining an in-depth understanding of business requirements.
- Draw up and design detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Take ownership of client data structures using the IBM Cognos suite, including Framework Manager, Report Studio, Transformer etc.
- Improve your analytical skill-set, begin to work with emerging IBM technologies such as SPSS and Business Viewpoint.
Required skills and experience: - Strong understanding across the IBM Cognos suite of products. Experience working with Framework Manager and Report Development is essential.
- Previous experience dealing with stakeholders in a commercial environment would be highly regarded.
- An understanding of the full Cognos SDLC is required.
- Any experience using dimension management software such as Business Viewpoint would be highly regarded but not essential.
- Knowledge of statistical modelling and analysis using tools such as SPSS or SAS would be held in high regarded.
- This is a client facing role, therefore, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills are required.
