The company are experiencing a huge period of growth and require a business objects pre-sales consultant to establish their ever expanding presence in the market place. The desired candidate will be a driven motivated professional who wants to join an already high achieving company.
The successful candidate will articulate industry vision and trends and provide industry knowledge to marketing and sales activities. The candidate will continue to build business with established accounts as well as be responsible for developing new business relationships.
Reporting to a Business Development Manager the successful candidate will support sales directors on boosting revenue potential. They will have the ability to advise clients on a range of BI issues. This role requires a candidate who will be a subject matter expert and possess the ability to take detailed customer requirements and deliver optimum BI solutions. The successful candidate will need to be able to be pro-active and work autonomously.
Some key responsibilities: - Proactively engage prospect clients, demonstrating cutting edge Business Intelligence solutions such as, building data models, KPI indicators, and ability to manage BI projects.
- Effectively manage customer expectations against the delivery of solutions to agreed outcomes.
- Report back on sales processes as required, and work towards agreed sales quotas.
- Leverage knowledge in analytic and statistical algorithms to help customers explore methods to improve their business
- Develop Demonstrations, presentations, white papers, benchmarking tools and other tools as needed to support sales
- Work with marketing on related events in assigned territories such as trade shows and webinars
You must have the following experience: - 2-4 years experience working with Business Objects
- 4 years Pre-sales experience or technical support in an enterprise software company
- Full understanding of all aspects of the Pre-Sales process.
- BSc in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Full understanding of Datawarehouse and Analytics
- Full understanding of Business Intelligence methodologies
- Outstanding Presentation skills - posses the ability to present to senior technical personnel
- Data Manipulation and statistical modelling experience
- Excellent time management
- Ability and flexibility to travel
- Experience working for a vendor or Pre-Sales Consultant is highly regarded.
