My client have an excellent reputation for being at the forefront of Business Intelligence solutions, and have a strong global presence across the globe. They are currently growing rapidly in Australia, and are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join their highly skilled team.
The role: - Overseeing exceptional Business Intelligence solutions to a list of extensive clients.
- Work closely with customers, ensuring that the Business Intelligence solutions delivered are aligned with business rules and strategies.
- Run workshops, train and mentor client staff, educating on BI best practices.
- Assist the Pre-Sales team with bids and tenders as required.
- Work across a range of BI technologies, eg. Cognos, Business Objects, SSRS, Qlikview, Microstrategy etc.
- Design and develop OLAP cubes as per the direction of clients.
- Assist with winning business with new and existing clients.
Required skills and experience: - Excellent understanding of Business Intelligence methodologies and practices.
- Previous experience working with Business Intelligence tools is required.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and ETL methodologies is required.
- Previous experience working as a Consultant, or in a client facing role is highly regarded.
- Excellent SQL skills are required.
- An analytical approach and strong problem solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills.
