We have an urgent requirement for a Business Analyst with an applications background and experience in SharePoint. Working for a well known Software Integrator, this role is responsible for the roll-out of SharePoint and Web Applications.
This position calls for a Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years experience delivering strategic oversight to a number of organisations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills accompanied with your proven experience delivering systems to the Marketing Sector, will be key to your success in this role.
You will need to be a Senior Business Analyst who is
available immediately for this role.
- Documenting clear functional and non-functional requirements and processes including but not limited to business, performance, operational, system, reporting, security, scalability and / or usability requirements.
- Ensure true business needs are clearly identified and clearly understood at the root so that the most effective and efficient solutions can be derived.
- Own and represent the business requirement gathering activity within a project or initiative.
- Manage scope of the requirements documentation and comply with change management procedures.
- Create the traceability matrix to ensure requirements are managed throughout the lifecycle of any project / program.
- Identify and promote the definition and reuse of common business processes and practices.
- Develop, refine and rollout common processes and procedures for business analysis.
- Identify areas for improvement and ensure that any necessary changes are identified and implemented.
- Ensure that deliverables are peer reviewed to assure and improve quality.
- Review design and testing documents and work with technology and testing teams to ensure business requirements are satisfied.
- Ensure that stakeholders are kept apprised of the status of requirements and the scope of the deliverables.
Skills Required - Business Analysis - 10yrs + experience
- Experience in the roll-out of Web Applications and SharePoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective negotiation and customer management skills within the Marketing sector is desirable
- An understanding of user needs and a focus on the business outcome
- A logical approach to problem solving and an investigative and inquisitive mind
- Experience in collating and documenting requirements
- Self motivating and assertive
- Highly developed time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Understanding of business applications, interfaces and integrated operational environments
- End to end experience of software development lifecycle.
