This is an opportunity to join one of the Australia's most recognisable brands.  Currently looking to expand their advanced Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams.  

A varied role, with a blend of design, development and administration.  You will be working across multiple projects, and this critical position brings the opportunity to effectively network and build relationships within this large organisation.

I am currently looking to speak with anyone who has strong skills with Teradata or Datastage, as multiple roles are available.

The roles:

  • Hands on design, and development with Teradata v12. or Datastage Enterprise Edition.
  • Effective maintenance and effective support of Analytical tools. 
  • Assist the Teradata DBA's with administration ad hoc administration requirements.
  • Performance tuning and optimisation of Teradata or Datastage.
  • Work closely with Technical BA's, in order to ensure that functional specifications are developed accurately.
  • Mentor and coach Junior Developers.
Required skills and experience:
  • Exceptional understanding of designing and developing with Teradata (v12 highly regarded). or Datastage.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse methodologies and concepts. (star schema / snow flake etc).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL Procedures (Datastage)
  • Understanding of working within Data Governance environments.
  • Any experience working with improvements of best-practice is highly regarded.  
  • Experience working on Data Warehouse or ETL upgrade projects would be beneficial.
