My client is one of Australia’s leading financial institutions with an excellent reputation for having a fun, friendly and stable working environment. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Customer Insights / Marketing Analytics expert to join the on a contract basis to consult and deliver around a wide range Customer, Sales and Strategy Insights and Modeling assignments.
The responsibilities of the role will cover
- Engaging and building relationships with key stakeholders from marketing, product and strategy teams. Developing an understanding, consulting and making recommendations around potential analytics based projects
- Using the Oracle SQL, and SPSS (SPSS Clementine/ SPSS Modeler) platform to perform the proactive analysis of both customer and product behaviour and performance.
- Applying a range of advanced analytical methodologies and techniques that may include, Propensity Modelling (Churn/Acquisition/Cross Sell/Up Sell), Segmentation Analysis, Pricing Optimisation, Customer Lifetime Value Analysis, Next Best Offer Analysis, Decision Trees, Neural Networks etc.
The successful applicant will come from a proven background working in a data driven analytics environment, where delivering strategic insights from large data sets has been key. You will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to build strong relationships while managing expectations in a fast past environment.
- A sound appreciation of Advanced Analytical techniques and concepts that may include but not limited to, Propensity Modeling (Churn/Acquisition/Cross Sell/Up Sell), Segmentation Analysis, Pricing Optimisation, Customer Lifetime Value Analysis, Next Best Offer Analysis, Significance Testing, Decision Trees, Neural Networks
- Technically strong with skills in some of the following SQL (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server etc), SAS (SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS E-Miner), SPSS (SPSS Clementine, SPSS Modeller), Excel/Access/VBA, PowerPoint, etc.
This is a contract position with initial terms of 6months however you should comfortably expect a long term on site engagement
